LOL, turn off ahci. It enables hot swapping or whatever its called.AHCI enables both hot-swapping.and. hot-plugging of SATA devices (both of which are useful in the extreme for RAID 5 arrays). (Generally, if you have a controller that supports SATA RAID, such as Intel's ICH5R or newer, you will want drives that support AHCI. It's not a new specification on the drive end, as my Maxtor supports AHCI and dates back to 2004.)AHCI and XP?
